Best described as melodic metal, Dark Sun Rising creates a wide variety of music. The range of the vocals varies from a strong raw sound to a powerful clean performance. The music is imbued with heavy melodic guitar riffs, symphonic keyboards, a pounding bass and technical drums. Our lyrical themes are designed in order to cultivate the listener, as most themes are metaphorical to connect what’s out there with everything that resides within yourself. With every song we create, we are guided by our personal inspirations to finally blend everything together, creating varying results every time. With the different musical styles each of the five of us are inspired by, we compose music that even surprises ourselves at times.
