Crying Steel born in Bologna in the spring of 1982 from the ashes of the Hard Rock "Wurdalak". The founding members are Alberto Simonini (Guitar) and Angelo Franchini (electric bass), to which were added Luca Bonzagni (vocals), and in 1983, after several changes of line-up, Luca Ferri (drums) and Franco Nipoti (guitar) After their first demo, which already contains Thundergods and Agony, songs by the group later proposed again, unnoticed by Beppe Riva Rockerilla that puts them in the compilation HM Eruption. In 1984 a new demo is ready, which paves the way for the next EP Crying Steel in 1985, a true rarity in the music industry.
