From OceansTo Autumn is a atmospheric sludge metal / post harcore band from Charlotte, North Carolina. Formed as a side project in early 2006, the band was originally known as Autumn Is Forever but after realising that the band was taking a different direction than its original that they decided to change their name to the current one. In October 2007 they released their debut LP entitled "Calmed by the Tide" and in spring 2008 the band released a split EP with Fire On The Horizon both through Forgotten Empire Records. By Way Of The Tide was self-released iin November 2011 followed by Oath Of Eternals in April 2012. In July 2012, From OceansTo Autumn released their Returns EP and in March 2013, Pareto Analysis Volume II: The Vital Few. The band's original lineup consists of Brandon (guitars, atmospheres, soundscapes), Rob (bass), Hiatt (drums) and Chris (keyboard, samples).
