Karnya is a metal progressive band from Rome, at its first work. The band comes from the meeting of three musicians, from the Roman underground scene, who have record experiences and several live performances on the Italian area: Enrico Sandri, already bass player from the prog-metal band Utopia with which he recorded the album “Ice and Knives”; Dario Di Pasquale already keyboard player from the prog-metal band ZEN with which he recorded the album “Gaze Into The Light”; Riccardo Nardocci virtuous singer and guitar player, author of two solo albums. The three different backgrounds led to the creation of an album rich of evocative and suggestive atmospheres. The musical projectproposal is deeply influenced by 70’s Progressive Rock as far as the new generation Metal, with Electronic contamination and continuous recalls to Classical music. Prerogative of the band is to enhance the melodic essence of each track of the album, always searching for the most complete musicality both in the instrumental parts and in the sung ones, testing different sounds and styles in the same track. In COVERIN’ THOUGHTS we find the participation of several talent musicians involved in order to bring out, as much as possible, the musical expressivity of each track.
