Modern Day Babylon is a progressive metal band from Teplice in the Czech Republic. Modern Day Babylon was founded by Tomáš Raclavský (guitar, synthesisers) at the end of 2010 a one-man project, although now operates as a three-piece instrumental band having been joined by Vojta Šeminský (drums) and Marek Mrvik (bass). The band won the Newcomer of the Year 2011 award and the Minialbum of the Year 2011 award, given by Britva Awards, a chart composed by some of the biggest names of Czech music media.
