Mr. Hyde was a melodic heavy metal band from Palma in Majorca formed in 1998. Mr. Hyde released an EP in 2006 before changing its name to Hyde XXI in 2009. Including Ricardo Carretero (drums), Jose (vocals), Jaume Gordiola (vocals) and Juan Pedro Hornos (guitars) as past members, it was the final line-up of Juanal Rubiño (bass), Tomeu Crespí (drums), Toni Recio (guitars) and David Arbona (guitars, keyboards, backing vocals) who made the transition to Hyde XXI.
