Draconaeon is a melodic black metal band from Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei, formed in 1999. Draconaeon was originally formed under the name Draconian. They changed name to Draconaeon when an Italian band of the same name threatened to take legal action against them, because the name Draconian was already registered. Draconaeon was formed from the ashes of Charon, vocalist Izard's previous band.
