Moonroot is a folk metal band from Ashburn in Virginia. The band comprises twin brothers Mark and Michael Riddick, and Dawn Desireé. They play a celtic-influenced folk metal, with progressive undertones to the music. Moonroot was formed in 1997 and released its debut album, Under the Ancient Oak, in 2013.
