Heart is an american hard rock band formed in 1973 by sisters Ann and Nancy Wilson. They have released 15 studio albums over the years and are one of the most successful female-fronted rock bands. They were inducted into the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame in 2013. Their musical style is primarily Led Zeppelin-influenced hard rock with folk rock mixed in. During the 80's, however, they switched to a more radio-friendly pop-rock sound. They went on hiatus from 1994-2001 and returned with the album 'Jupiter's Darling' which was a return to their folk-infused hard rock sound. (Biography written by Unitron on August 8th 2014.)
