Counterfeit was a band from Windsor in Ontario who played mid-tempo metallic hardcore. Counterfeit released a shared EP with Apathemy in 1998 alongside a number of demos. The band featured guitarist Chris Rawson of Walls Of Jericho and bassist Lear Mason who went on to form Facedown.
