A Textbook Tragedy was a technical metalcore / mathcore band from Vancouver in British Columbia, formed in 2004. A Textbook Tragedy played alongside various bands including All That Remains, The Acacia Strain, Misery Signals, Emmure, Comeback Kid, Ion Dissonance and Despised Icon. The band released its debut album, A Partial Dialogue Between Ghost And Priest, in 2005 and followed up with Intimidator in 2008. A Textbook Tragedy split up in 2010.
