Awe of the Slaughter was a metalcore band from Appleton in Wisconsin. Some time after releasing its Legends Never Die EP in 2006, Awe of the Slaughter changed its name to Challenger. Challenger moved from playing metalcore to straight edge hardcore. Challenger released its debut album, All Throttle No Bottle, in 2007 and an EP titled, The Time Of Your Life.
