Ashentide is an American symphonic metal band, formed in 2008 by drummer Overlord Tom. He first recruited guitarist Andrew Faust, followed by keyboardist Anastasia Devana and singer Lenore Young. With this lineup, the band released their self-titled EP in 2011. The band plays a brand of melodic symphonic metal, with bands like Nightwish, Epica and Within Temptation being listed by the band as influences. They completed their lineup later in 2011 with guitarist J. Rivers and bassist Sir Bastian Rock. In late 2013 they announced that Lenore had left the band.
