The Iron Maidens are an all female tribute band to UK New Wave of British Heavy Metal field leaders Iron Maiden. They hail from the United States. Though their actual line-up of musicians has seen some rotation, the members make use of the same or similar pseudonymous in allusion to the members of the original band such as the current line-up of Bruce Chickinson (Bruce Dickinson), Mega Murray (Dave Murray), Adriana Smith (Adrian Smith), Steph Harris (Steve Harris) and Nikki McBurrain (Clive Burr and Nicko McBrain). The actual current members are Kirsten Rosenberg (vocals), Courtney Cox (guitars), Nikki Stringfield (guitars), Nita Strauss (guitars), Wanda Ortiz (bass) and Linda McDonald (drums). Strauss and Stringfield play Dave Murray's parts alternately between tours. The band has their own version of Iron Maiden mascot Eddie, called Charlotte after the Iron Maiden song Charlotte the Harlot. The Iron Maidens released a full length studio album covering Iron Maiden's music called World's Only Female Tribute to Iron Maiden in 2005. They've also released the EP's Route 666 and The Root of All Evil in 2007 and 2008 respectively.
