Isengard is a power metal band formed in 1988 in Sweden by brothers Uffe & Janne. In 1991 Ronnie Andréson joined in on guitars. In 1992 singer Anders “Gurra” Gustavsson joins and Isengard records their first demo. Gurra leaves the band in 1994 and Andréson takes over vocal duties for their debut LP 'Feel No Fear'. Yet another vocalist change happened in 1995, when Odin took over and Isengard released 'Enter the Dragon Empire' a year later. The album received critical acclaim in metal magazines. Yet again the singer left, and Linus Melchoirsen joins as the new singer. After the release of 'Crownless Majesty' in 2001, Isengard went on hiatus. In 2008, Isengard re-formed with the line-up of Janne, Fredrik Broman, Ronnie Andréson, and Peter Högberg. In 2013, Isengard released a new EP 'Sail Into Orion', which was well received by critics. Later they would hire Peo Lövholm for keyboards and Helena Åström as a female vocalist. (Biography written by Unitron on October 20th 2014.)
