Ivalys is a French symphonic metal band, formed in 2007. Their current lineup features: Jessica Donati (Vocals), Nicolas Rey (Guitars), Stanislas Dinnequin (Guitars), Loris Guillen (Bass), Pablo San Martín (Drums). They released an EP in 2011, titled Words in Time. This release featured a very light and melodic sound, with occasional power metal elements. In 2013 they released their full length debut, titled Lumen. Compared to their previous release, this one featured a much heavier, more progressive sound, with a constant use of heavy riffs and complex rhythms, contrasting with Jessica's very light vocals. - Biography by DippoMagoo, October 2014
