Pursuing the End is an Italian symphonic metal/melodic death metal band, formed in 2010. The band has gone through several line up changes over the years, with their current lineup featuring: Giacomo Benamati (Harsh Vocals), Chiara Manese (Vocals), Davide Rinaldi (Guitars), Thomas Pipitone (Guitars), Luca Cocconi (Bass), and Fabien Squarza (Drums). In 2011 and 2012 they released two EP's, titled Dawn of Expiation and Withering. On these releases, the band played epic symphonic metal, featuring the use of choir vocals to go with their male/female co-lead vocals. The band went through a major shift in 2013, as that's when they went through their biggest lineup changes, and also the year when they released their full length debut, Symmetry of Scorn. This release was a huge departure from their EPs, as it featured more of a melodic death metal sound, this time with the two lead vocalists at the forefront of the music, and with the symphonic elements reduced, and at times replaced by electronic effects and dance beats.
