
Lingua Mortis Orchestra, from German, is a side project of the power metal band Rage and features all three of it's core members, Peter "Peavy" Wagner (vocals, bass), Victor Smolski (guitars, keyboards) and André Hilgers (drums), with the additions of Jeannette Marchewka and Dana Harnge as further vocalists. Lingua Mortis Orchestra plays symphonic metal with influences of power metal and progressive metal. The band is named for the 1996 Rage album Lingua Mortis and has been credited on several subsequent Rage releases. Despite this the entity that is Lingua Mortis Orchestra is considered separate and to have formed in 2013, the same year their debut release LMO came out.
