NORTH (Sludge/Post-metal)

North is an atmospheric sludge / post-sludge metal / post-rock band from Arizona, United States. Formed in late 2005, North was comprised of Ty Engle (guitar), Matt Mutterperl (guitar), Evan Leek (bass), and Zack Hansen (drums). North released their instrumental EP, Siberia, in 2006 and in 2007 followed that up with their EP, Ruins. North then added a keyboardist, and a vocalist to their ranks, and released a full length album in the summer of 2008 titled "What you Were". North’s second full-length, The Great Silence, was released in 2012. North’s sound can be best described as a mixture of Red Sparowes and Pelican with some tinges of Mono and Explosions In The Sky. http://galacticdads.bandcamp.com/
