
Enter Shikari is an English four-piece experimental post - hardcore / trancecore / metalcore band from St. Albans, Hertfordshire, England. They were formed in 1999 under the name Hybryd. They released a demo EP called "Commit No Nuisance", which was self released and was the only release under the Hybryd name. In 2003, they changed their name to Enter Shikari. During 2003 and 2004, the band released a total of three demo EPs. These songs were available on their website, along with songs that would then-be featured on their debut album "Take To The Skies". Another demo EP was originally planned for 2005, however no such EP was ever released to the public fully. There was, however, songs from it featured online as well. They've played on several life shows including BBC Radio at the BBC Radio Theatre. They also played their biggest ever gig, a show as the Brixton Academy which had an audience count of 4,921. They have released a total of three studio albums, four extended plays, nineteen singles, two video albums, twenty-four music videos, and three box sets.
