Bat Castle is an experimental death metal band from Austin, Texas. Formed in 1999, Bat Castle mixes its death metal base with grind, black, groove, goth and some avant-garde flourishes to accompany its vampire-themed lyrics. In 2004, Bat Castle released a self-titled demo recording. Their full-length album, The Book, was self-released in 2008. The band is currently comprised of BC Lewis: Minister Of Darkness on vocals and guitars, Rob Ortiz on guitars, Owen McCloskey on drums and Joel Miller on bass.
