SEVEN (Progressive Metal)

SEVEN is a Progressive Metal band from Illinois United States formed in 2001. The band released their debut full-length studio album "Echoes of Old Voices in the Rise of New Machines" in 2007. Seven's second full-length studio album "Cymatics" was released in 2009. The band mentions acts such as Meshuggah, Tool, Nine Inch Nails and Deftones as influences. The band was started by vocalist Brad Tuttle who still writes and records all the instruments and material for Seven to date. Live, Brad only performs vocals though and Johnny Reed plays drums/ electronic percussion, Keith Daily plays bass, Jonny Funk plays guitar and Ike Lindsey adds electronic elements like samples to Seven´s live sound. In 2010 Brad Tuttle announced the end of Seven, citing 'constant internal issues and member changes' as the reason. In October 2012 however, a new album 'End Of The Circle' was announced, possibly for a 2013 release.
