September Mourning is a transmedia storyline project formed by vocalist Emily Lazar(September). In 2009 she began work on the musical side of the project, eventually releasing a full-length studio album in 2012 titled Melancholia. They recently released a song entitled 'Children of Fate' which was co-wrote by Sahaj Ticotin of alternative metal band Ra. Their style is a combination of alternative rock/metal, gothic metal, electronic, and various other forms of music. They gained a following after they toured with Marilyn Manson in 2009.
