VAKA is a Swedish Experimental sludge / post-sludge metal act formed in 2005 in Borlänge/Hultsfred, Dalarnas län by Karl Daniel Liden. Vaka is a one man act with Karl Daniel Liden playing Drums, Piano, Mellotron, Harmonium, Organs, Synths. Vaka´s debut full-length studio album "Kappa Delta Phi" was released in November 2008 in Sweden and in January 2009 in the rest of the world. The album features several guest musicians playing guitar, bass and handling vocals. Karl Daniel Liden has also been a member of Demon Cleaner, Dozer and Greenleaf. ( Biography written by UMUR)
