Thyreos was founded in 2001, in small town Degerfors, Sweden. The studio produced demo Words Of Evil was recorded six years later. It contains two songs: Words Of Evil and Me And Myself. This was the first time the band worked with producer Ronny Milianowicz at Studio Seven. Both songs on the demo were re-recorded and released on the band’s debut album Sound Of Destruction. Sound Of Destruction came out in 2009. Two years later, the band signed a deal with Sliptrick Records for a world wide release. A video was shot for the title track, directed by Thomas Tjäder. The album was produced by Ronny Milianowicz and mastered by Jens Bogren. Thyreos went from a quintet to a quartet the year after the release of SOD. During this time, the band consisted of Fredrik Nordin (vocals and bass), Erik Palmqvist (keyboard), Henrik Johansson (drums) and Daniel Birath (guitar). In the end of December 2011, the recording of the second album I Don’t Live To Fail was finished after two months of hard work. This time, Ronny Milianowicz produced, mixed and mastered. A new deal was signed with Sliptrick Records for the release. I don’t live to fail, was released on oktober 26th 2012. As the new album was released, Daniel Birath left the band and Gianni Bonafedi took his place as Thyreos new guitar player.
