Burning Man is a sludge metal band from Viana do Castelo in Portugal. Formed in 2011, Burning Man is a band consisting of 5 members who are influenced by bands like Mastodon, Torche and High on Fire. Burning Man play metal that’s heavy, black and melodic at the same time, leading to a powerful and well-made sludge. With the release of his first single "The Siege" the Burning Man got a great feedback leading to comparisons with the prestigious Portuguese band "Men Eater". An EP, Ronin, was released in 2012 through Shut Up and Play and for free download on Bandcamp.
