The Slaughtered Lamb is a black metal band from Los Angeles, California. The Slaughtered Lamb features Darea Plantin (Bass, Noise) and John Paul Whetzel (Guitars, Noise, Vocals), both of whom had performed together in other bands including Deathstench, Pro-Death and Welter in Thy Blood. Formed in 2006, an EP, Path of Ashen Bone, was released on Black Goat Records in 2008. In 2010 The Slaughtered Lamb participated in a Black Goat Records four way split with Halo Of The Sun, The Arm and Sword of a Bastard God and Gnaw Their Tongues, called In Hoc Signo Vinces.
