Teen Cthulhu was a hardcore punk-based black metal band from Seattle, Washington. Teen Cthulhu was active between 1998 and 2003 when they split up. Ssome band members went on to form Book of Black Earth. Teen Cthulhu released six mostly split EPs and two full length albums; Simple Elegance in 1999 and Ride the Blade in 2003. The band also appeared on three compilation albums: - "I'm Going to Fucking Kill Myself" (1:26) on "Punkin House R.I.P. (1999-2005)" (April 27th 2005), - "Brig, Song For A Dead Horse" on "Is It... Dead?" (2001, Sub Pop Records) - "Violent World" (1:09) on "The Necessary Effect - Screamers Songs Interpreted" (2002, Xeroid Records)
