Chaostar is a band which has, at various points in their career, has included all of the current line-up (as of 2013) of the symphonic death metal band Septicflesh. Chaostar plays neoclassical darkwave music. Because of the many connections to Septicflesh they have been included as a Metal Related artist in the MMA. Chaostar was formed in 1998 and was originally active until 2004. They released three albums in that time: Chaostar (2000), Threnody (2001) and The Scarlet Queen (2004).
