DIESTO is a progressive doom metal / stoner metal band from Portland, Oregon consisting of Chris Dunn (guitar, vocals), Mark Bassett (guitar, vocals), Captain John (bass) and Scott Ulrich (drums). Diesto originally was a trio on their first two releases of which only Chris Dunn is the remaining member. Their debut album Outland was released in 2000 followed by Doomtown 7, released in 2004 on Cobraside/Elastic. In 2007, Diesto released their third full length album, Isle of Marauder, on Exigent Records. High As The Sub, Diesto's fourth album was issued by Seventh Rule Recordings in 2010.
