Numerous member changes, tour-vehicle mishaps and material reconstruction, the band’s remaining steadfast members were intent on a new platform in which to record the album, setting forth a fresh direction and energy. Reborn hungrier and ever relentless, drummer Matt Smith (ex-Outworld), vocalist Wayne Accord, guitarists Zakk Jones and Curt Smith, and bassist Shawn Bartlett, added the final polish to their brutal monster. Recorded and mixed by Matt Smith of the band at his studio, it could only then be unleashed after Taylor Larson (worked with Periphery/ Sky Eats Airplane) of Oceanic Studios Bethesda had applied his expert mastering.
