Early Warning was a progressive metal band from Atlanta in Georgia. Early Warning formed in early 1991 as a three-piece comprising Frank Carrillo on guitars, Dave Re on drums and Mark Vignati on bass. Later the same year vocalist and guitarist Chris Singer joined. In 1995 Mark Vignati decided to quit the band. The remaining Early Warning band members recruited a new bassist and continued as the band, Spirit Animal.
