Ganon is a sludge / post-sludge metal band from Detroit, who play in the Neurosis,Isis,Pelican style. Formed in summer 2001, Ganon released their first full-length album "In the Dead of Sleep" in 2006. Alongside a line-up of a drummer, bassist and vocalist/keyboardist, Ganon utilised three guitar players. Guitarist Matt left the band after the recording of "In the Dead of Sleep",and Ganon choose not to replace him. In 2008, Ganon's follow-up album, As Above So Below, was released. The band is now working on their third release.
