Gary Suicidal Kids Commando is a progressive sludge / post-hardcore / metalcore / screamo band formed in 2000 in Pau, France. They play “intense, personal, epic and drifting” sludge metal. They are influenced by the European indie and hardcore punk scenes (with bands such as Breach, Systral, Ananda) as well as artists such as Led Zeppelin and King Crimson, and other 70’s psychedelic rock artists. Gary Suicidal Kids Commando released their first album in 2003. In 2005 they self-released Ainsi Passe La Gloire Du Monde. Their third album, Par La Douleur, La Joie, was released on multiple labels in 2008.
