Valkynaz is a raw black metal project of S. Stormhammer from Henderson in Nevada, formed in 2009. Valkynaz is a name taken from S. Stormhammer's favourite gaming series, The Elder Scrolls. Describing Valkynaz, S. Stormhammer notes; "As a musician, I feel it is important to keep one's mind open in order to create new and interesting music. Anything may inspire me to write a song, whether it is my disgust for humanity, such as their capitalistic, elitist ideals or their delusions into thinking that they're better than anyone else, or me playing the Elder Scrolls."
