Lark Puden was formed in Rosario, Argentina, in 2010 as a project by Nicolás Farante. Its aim was, and still is, to tell stories bringing them to life through music; making use of opera singing and power metal with symphonic musical arrangements. At the beginning of 2010 Nicolás started writing the songs, basing on ideas he had in mind and inspired in books and stories he had read and seen throughout his life. In June 2010, having almost all the songs written, the search for musicians began. The beginnings of the band werent that good since the recording began with two musicians who, for personal reasons, had to stand aside from the project. And the search carried on... It was then that Nicolás got the help of Pedro, musician, bassist and singer. Through him, Nahuel joined in the band, giving life to Lark Puden. Only the leading voice was missing. Nicolás listened to the wonderful voice of Melani Hess, offering her to be part of the band in order to start recording, and with her the band was complete. From then on, the recording of the first album set in motion. The meaning of the bands name is still a mystery, only the band members know what it means. Apparently, the answer to this unknown will remain within Lark Pudens members.
